Expansion of Collectors' offerings
What we have now is:
-Armor
-Weapons; Offhands/Shields
-Merchant items (Bags, salvage kits, etc from newbie areas)
-Exp Scrolls
-Alcohol --> Drunkard title atm is basically a money sink of 6000plat basically
--> more alcohol collectors ought to be added
What could be considered for addition:
-Inscriptions --> to create a ceiling price of sorts and to provide consistent supply at all times
-Dyes (only grey atm) --> to create a ceiling price for dye while allowing for more customization
-Crafting materials that only come from monster drops (Ex: Rubies and Sapphires collectors are already in place in exchange for trade contracts; Fur Squares for Charr Hides)
-Weapon Mods (like in PvP Equipment maker) --> would kill upgrade market but upgrades are not obtainable other than from drops atm
Extremely low probability for addition and why they shouldn't be added to collectors:
-Runes --> would kill rune market and they are usually in stock with moderate price (except superior vigor...)
-Crafting Materials that can be salvaged--> would kill idea of salvage
Anything available in PvP equipment maker should be available for PvE collectors, IMO. By providing collectors , a ceiling price would be set while also allowing for an alternate way of obtaining them instead of just cash. Since the collectors items would require work, it serves as a way to WORK toward getting whatever it is you want, without taking the easy way out (by trading some gold with a trader or player in exchange for whatever it is).
-Dye prices are extremely variant, if you want any mix with black/silver/white it costs a fortune.
-To equip characters and heroes with collectors items means hunting for mobs to put on them. This would reduce that hassle.
-To get drunkard 6000plat, limiting it to only those with cash
